Publishing Platform

The goal of the Publishing Platform is to provide a way to publish content (static and dynamic) to the Web, in a way that does not required technical (IT) intervention. This high level UML project defines the functionality that must be implemented to allow for efficient interaction between the publishing platform and its users. The intention is to give a high-level overview of IT’s understanding of the project requirements, as discussed with the involved parties. The project provides a split of the requirements into high-level use cases. Each use case corresponds to a specific functionality that the application must provide. Implementation of a European Intranet, with targeted content for each location, including who-is-who, agenda, announcements, chairmans corner, user management, company info,... On top of the Intranet, implementation of a Sharepoint Portal Server as a document management system, integrated with the intranet, and Sharepoint Team Sites for collaborative sites.
